Burslem Park: Stoke on Trent

Ashmead Price have supported Stoke on Trent City Council since 2007 in developing a funding application to Heritage Lottery Fund for the comprehensive restoration of Burslem Park.

The project was awarded £2.1 million funding in April 2010 and the scheme will be implemented by the autumn of 2012. The City Council parks maintenance team will undertake the replanting work, and local nurseries have been commissioned to grow the shrubs and herbaceous plants for the projects. An urban park ranger is in post to promote and develop volunteering and events throughout the park during the restoration period.
